- CD: G. Ph. Telemann: Harmonischer Gottesdienst
- The vocalist Jana Janků exhibits a remarkable feel for this negative passion, which Teleman occasionally depicts by means of echoism ('hiss ye and glow, tongues of fire, race of serpents'), and the entire recording bears witness to her determination to comply with the meaning as much as possible. The lyrics are provided in the booklet, along with a Czech translation. Ms. Janků displays a highly interesting timbre and minimal problems with the very exacting coloraturas?

- The Baroque in Scandinavia Concert of Music and Poetry
- Not being an expert on Baroque music, I have appreciated this short exposition as a quite welcome diversion; I also value the ensemble's aspiration to present early music in an authentic manner. I was particularly captivated by the vocal pieces, the singer was very good indeed?this being said by a person previously almost allergic to classical singing!

- Musica Poetica's Homage to Händel
- The mezzo-soprano Jana Janků became one of the highlights of the evening. She executed the arias by Händel in a resonant, clear manner, supported by well-coordinated instrumentalists. Her voice, so sonorous in the pastoral aria, grew gentle and placid in the amorous confessions of the following composition, the cantata Languia di bocca lusingiera. The singer imbued the recitative and aria from the cantata La Lucrezia, representing lamentations and anger of the classical heroine, with admirable expression and dynamics. However, the undisputable climax of the evening only arrived with the final cantata Mi palpita il cor, a composition teeming with amorous passion, presented with masterful coloraturas, unimpeachable intonation, and the right measure of personal involvement.
